10 May 2011 / Tuesday
The next two days will be rough. Like it always has been. I can’t believe I’m still awake after being on campus from 9AM-12AM, 15 hours of being there and fighting sleepiness yet I managed to bring myself to the bars to celebrate Caitlyn’s 21st. Anything for a good friend.. and I had fun! I saw it as a break between today and tomorrow. Well, good night, world.

8 May 2011 / Sunday
Saturday night, so wild. I spent it with my X-acto knife, rubber cement, and color aid papers. After spending most of my day on campus for the Whole Earth Festival, I decided that I needed to be productive tonight in order to have a good start for the upcoming week. I finished my project so that I won’t have to pull an allnighter tomorrow. I feel that every quarter, there’s always that one class that ruins it for me. While I have two interesting classes now, I would have to say that DES15 is my least favorite. It’s not hard, it’s just time consuming. Tedious. Expensive. Blah.
Anyways, I feel accomplished, and I also feel like I can enjoy a Sunday for once. Sunday is usually my “stop having fun and catch up on homework day” but tomorrow I’m going to the Bay for a few hours to enjoy a nice Mother’s Day brunch with my family. Hooray!!!

28 April 2011 / Thursday
Shoot. Edit. Print. Study. Repeat. My desk is far too small for this madness. This weekend will consist of studying for a midterm, living in the photo lab to edit and make prints for project 1, study some more, and shoot some more for the fashion show in SF. Oh… let’s not forget Phoenix on repeat and that terrible feeling of needing to sneeze, but you can’t. My room smells like coffee (thanks to my coffee maker in the corner). Because of that, I am somewhat satisfied. Sometimes I wish that to accomplish these tasks, I can stop being human. By that I mean get rid of distractions such as sms, hunger, the need to pee, meetings, and boredom. I just want a nonstop work flow and get A, B, C, D done.
P.S. Look at that brown thing covering my desk. Something I did this weekend thanks the excess amount of Trader Joe’s paper bags my house collects & my willingness to procrastinate. My eyes needed to look at something different I guess (and my desk is white, I was sick of wiping the dirt away!)

23 December 2010 / Thursday

san francisco, goldengatepark, my house, my friends’ houses, housewarming party, halloween weekend, term papers, farmers market, brody got sick, and more

FALLQUARTER PHOTODIARY. The life of a college student. Redbull and exams are like peanut butter and jelly…

This doesn’t really explain all of what happened those three months, it was fun and all but now it’s over with and I’m crossing my fingers for a more eventful and adventurous winter quarter. I just have to make it happen.

10 December 2010 / Friday

A week of sleep deprivation and bad, unhealthy meals finally coming to an end.

Yesyesyes, almost there! I had my 3rd final this morning at 8AM and my last one at 6PM tonight. Today’s schedule: a lunch at the dining commons, redbull & tons of cramming… haven’t started studying for this one. After that I’m free!

6 December 2010 / Monday

This was my day. A trip to the DMV, sushi lunch buffet, and the library.

School. It never ends.

3 December 2010 / Friday

tgif. I’m so glad this week is over— I was probably on campus for an average of 13 hours a day. I had at least one major assignment due each day and had to squeeze in 6 “hours” worth of experimentrix points (this required sitting down and taking boring questionnaires, zzzzz). I’m averaging at least 4 hours of sleep a day, which is driving me extremely nuts right now. I’ve been living off cocoa chewy bars, cheap CoHo pizza, bacon&eggs, and ridiculous amounts of coffee (thanks Trader Joe’s), ahhh I haven’t had a decent meal in days. I’m the type of person that likes to clean and that usually happens on the weekends, but by Friday my room always looks like a disaster. It was a lot worse this week with my clothes everywhere, crap piled up in my closet, and my desk cluttered with junk. I finally washed a week’s worth of dishes piled up in random places of my room and it felt awesomeeee! I don’t have the right to take it easy until 8PM next Friday, but I’m in a great mood right now… just went to the mall and then going to chill with friends tonight.

Today was the last day of fall quarter classes (btw, most I will not miss). I will miss my ancient history class though. The professor finished the lecture off with a goodbye and it made me so happy how everyone clapped in the end! If you go to Davis and you’re looking for an elective or art/humanities GE class, definitely take any of Stylianos Spyridakis’ upper division history course. He’s an amazing professor and he’s also hilarious.
