I heart dessert, so I had to make a dessert stand. I made another DIY blog post: check it out at daintinessDIY. In five steps, these thrifted plates and glasses turned into a tiered dessert stand. Now I can throw all the tea parties I want. Yes.

BRIGHT WHITE. Welcome to my new room. Only slightly different from my other ones if you’ve been following my blog for a while… but definitely my favorite thus far! Thank goodness I’m not surrounded by those pink walls anymore. Note to self: before you paint a wall, make sure it’s the right shade or you will suffer.
edit: after I posted this I realized that maybe I should have said a few things about the room itself. Minor details: most of the frames on my wall were thrifted, most of the prints were from places I visited (Parisian métro map, Thiebaud print from DC, le chat & bw photo from Paris, Central Park postcard from NYC, and George Dionysius Ehret postcard from V&A in London). The circle frame and Balenciaga bw postcard were from my little sister and the world map was given to me by my friend Leanne. I created a replica of the Up painting and DIY’d the chalkboard and the jewelry hangers. Hmm what else? I finally bought another monitor… wow, why didn’t I do this earlier?

PS. What do you think of my new apartment’s living room wall? Thoughts on the deer? Creepy? At least he’s smiling.
