I wanted to be everything for Halloween. Last Thursday I actually had to decide on a Halloween costume (actually, no, my roommates would tell you I couldn’t decide on a costume and I had more than 3 on my mind…) I decided to be 1/2 of Daft Punk and make my helmet before the weekend. I’m not completely satisfied with the helmet but I suppose after working on it for a few hours with cereal boxes, spray paint, and a couple of glowsticks, it’s something to be a little proud of. I decided last minute that I needed a back up costume because I knew I wasn’t going to wear my helmet all night (but really, I just wanted to smear paint on my face)… so I grabbed this tan vest I got from England and found a use for it. Today, I took a study break, stopped by my friend’s mixer really quick and dressed up as a safari woman. I guess I was a little inspired by Yelle. Instant costume thanks to my 99 cent safari hat, gold spray paint, $3 thrifted shirt and everything else I already own. Hope everybody had a good Halloween weekend!
